Nancy's Cottage is a renovated cottage situated in quiet and peaceful rural countryside, with magnificent views of the Mourne and Cooley Mountains and Irish Sea, just outside Clogherhead, Co. Louth. The cottage (with patio area & barbeque) is surrounded by a beautiful mature landscaped garden - a perfect playground for children and is only 10mins walk to the seashore. Nancy's Cottage is spacious and homely, comprising sitting room with open fire, kitchen/dining room, utility area, three bedrooms and two bathrooms.


The Cottage was built in 1911. Nancy moved there with her family as a child. Nancy married John Joe Connolly in 1950 and the present generation of the family were born there. The Cottage is surrounded by a lovely, well kept garden with lots of flowers, shrubs, and trees, laid out in two separate lawns, all of which were planted by Nancy and JohnJoe. A visit to the cottage always included, after tea & scones in the kitchen, a tour of the garden to admire the latest plant aquired or flowers in bloom. Enjoy the warmer days and evenings on the patio and have a chat with the friendly neighbours. The house was refurbished in 2004. It is close to the Golf Clubs of Baltray and Seapoint and a 45mins drive from Dublin Airport. Sea fishing is available in Clogherhead and Annagassan, fresh water fishing in rivers Boyne and Glyde. The fully fitted kitchen/dining area has patio doors to the garden and french doors to separate sitting room.
